The Policy, Organisation and Rules of the Scout Association states that:

Rule 3.22: (b)

A Scout Group is led by a Group Scout Leader and managed by a Group Executive Committee. They are accountable to the Group Council for the satisfactory running of the Group.

Our Group Executive Committee is currently very much involved in the running of the Group, in particular in the supporting roles of fundraising and recruitment. The Group Committee is led by a team of administrators:

Group Chairman -

Currently Vacant
   
  To assist the Group Scout Leader in the effective operation of the Scout Group, by leading and supporting Group administrators in accordance with the Policy, Organisation and Rules of The Scout Association.
   
Group Secretary - Currently Vacant
   
  To assist the Group Chairperson in the effective administration of the Scout Group in accordance with the Policy, Organisation and Rules of The Scout Association.
   
Group Treasurer - Currently Vacant (post temp filled by GSL)
   
  To assist the Group Chairperson in the effective financial administration of the Scout Group in accordance with the Policy, Organisation and Rules of The Scout Association.

There is a Group Executive meeting every couple of months, usually amounting to around 5 in a year. All parents are automatic members of the committee, and are welcome at any Committee meetings.

     
  GROUP EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
